After asking everyone I could find why my knit stitches looked so "funky" and getting the "You knit weird I don't understand what you're doing" answers someone at a knitting retreat watched me knit for just one moment and said, "Try wrapping your yarn this way instead of that way." It made all the difference in the world. Funny how little bits of missing information can make a huge difference. I knit “combination” and was having the same problem with the twisted stitches.
